FAQs

After a pet care request is submitted and approved, what happens next?

Once your dates are confirmed, we’ll schedule a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your pet, and you can get to know me. This usually takes place at your home—especially if I’ll be staying there—so you can show me where their food, treats, toys, and other important items are kept. We’ll review their daily routines, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medications or special instructions. It’s also a good time to go over emergency contacts, home access details, and any preferences you have for updates or house rules. The goal is to make sure your pet’s care is seamless and comfortable while you’re away.

How are payments handled?

Once you’re back home and reunited with your pet, I’ll send you a Venmo request for the amount listed in the Services section at the top of this page. This way, payment is handled after your pet is safely back in your care.
